1. Apple forced to remove many health features from Apple Watch
            When Apple first envisioned the Apple Watch, it wanted the wearable to offer features like the ability to measure blood pressure, heart activity and stress levels, among others. However, the Cupertino giant was not able to integrate these due to various reasons ranging from technical difficulties to regulatory hurdles.

2. Why Amazon is willing to spend billions on Prime Instant Video
When Amazon.com reported its fourth quarter earnings last month, the announcement came with an interesting note from CEO Jeff Bezos. He wrote in the earnings release that Amazon "paid billions of dollars for Prime shipping and invested $1.3 billion in Prime Instant Video."

            Authorities in Brazil have got hold of a valuable Twitter account to publicise next year's Rio Olympics, after a humble Spanish shoeshine man surrendered the rights to it for free. 

4. Apple is redesigning its stores for Apple Watch
Apple design chief Jony Ive has worked with executive Angela Ahrendts to make Apple Stores feel like a more "natural" environment for the forthcoming Apple Watch, according to an extensive profile of Ive by Ian Parker in the New Yorker.

5. Why Steve Jobs was such a jerk to employees
            Apple founder Steve Jobs could be a real jerk when criticizing employees. He said exactly what he meant, often using profanity to get his point across. He once fired the head of the team who created MobileMe, Apple's first attempt at a cloud service, in a public meeting in front of his team. There are many examples of him almost bringing employees to tears. 

6. Xiaomi dethrones Samsung in China
            Upstart Xiaomi was the top smartphone company in China last year with a 12.5% market share, narrowly outpacing South Korea's Samsung, market intelligence firm International Data Corporation (IDC) said on Tuesday. 

7. Micromax announces Android Lollipop update for Canvas phones
            Domestic devices maker Micromax has announced that the company will be rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its popular Canvas series of smartphones. Lollipop is the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. 

8. Kaspersky exposes spyware on world's most popular hard drives
            The US National Security Agency has figured out how to hide spying software deep within hard drives made by Western Digital, Seagate, Toshiba and other top manufacturers, giving the agency the means to eavesdrop on the majority of the world's computers, according to cyber researchers and former operatives. 

9. China shuts down over 60 dating websites
China's internet regulator has shut 65 dating and other match-making websites after accusing them of spreading obscene content and allowing registration with false names, Xinhua state news agency said on Tuesday. 

10. HTC working on budget version of One (M8) 
           HTC is rumoured to be readying two different handsets, the HTC One M9 and the One M9 Plus, for a release in a couple of weeks at MWC 2015, but it looks like that's not all to come from the company soon. 

11. Pebble now features Android Wear compatibility
There's a lot to like about Pebble, not least its long battery life and low price, but users would be forgiven for being a bit jealous of the flashy new Android Wear.
