1. Fight sensing cameras are now a reality
            Fight cams — super smart CCTV cameras that automatically alert the police before a crime takes place has now become a reality. 

2. Cisco reports better than expected results
            Network equipment maker Cisco Systems reported stronger-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit as demand for switching equipment and routers helped make up for weak spending by the company's traditional telecom customers.

3. 'Digital dark age' could leave historians with no records of the  21st century
            As the way that we store information about ourselves develops, memories stored in files that use older technology are becoming harder to access, Dr Vinton "Vint" Cerf, vice president of Google, has warned.

4. Apple is about to change the way you log in to iMessage, FaceTime
            Apple has introduced two-factor authentication for iMessage and FaceTime, which makes the services much more secure and trickier to hack into. 

5. India has highest number of cricket lovers on Facebook
            According to Facebook's internal data, 45% of the total people interested in cricket on Facebook come from India, which comprises of 81% males and 19% females, the US-headquartered company said in a release.The United States may not be taking part in the World Cup beginning tomorrow but the country has the second highest number of Facebook users interested in cricket.

6. TV will be central to Apple’s 2015 plans: Piper-Jaffray
            While Apple CEO Tim Cook has spoken several times about the company's interest in TVs, there is no word on the company working on a HDTV yet. However, Piper-Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says that the Apple TV set-top box will get a major upgrade this year and become a core product for the company. 

7. Facebook pays Indian $12,500 for finding photo-deleting bug
Laxman Muthiyah from India has received a $12,500 bounty for discovering a Facebook bug that allowed hackers to arbitrarily delete photos from accounts. 

8. Apps crash more on iOS 8 than Android 5.0, iOS 7
According to analytics firm Crittercism, the crash rate of apps is relatively higher on the latest version of iOS than Android 5.0. The firm says that the crash rate for Android Lollipop is 2%, while iOS 8 trails behind the newest Google mobile OS at 2.2%. 

9. Apple just gave you a reason to not buy a 16GB iPhone
Apple has bumped up the size limit of iOS apps from 2GB to 4GB, it confirmed to developers. This is to "provide a more complete, rich user experience upon installation", said Cupertino. The 2GB limit has been in place since the App Store launched in 2008, so the impact of this is going to be pretty significant. 

10. Apple could take time to reach $1 trillion valuation
Activist investor Carl Icahn thinks Apple is already worth over $1 trillion but others on Wall St think it will take a few more years for the iPhone maker's stock value to get there.
